Inside Asian Gaming speaks with Verapat Pariyawong, a prominent Thai lawyer and advisor to the House Committee on Finance and Financial Institutions, about the opportunities and challenges the legalization of casino gaming in Thailand can present.

Taking place at IAG’s Thailand Entertainment Complex Roundtable in Bangkok on 5 June, Verapat offers his take on how the political landscape may shape the casino debate and why Thailand must be careful not to miss the casino opportunity.

He also outlines the importance of establishing a sound regulatory framework to ensure Thai citizens are protected while ensuring they also have the opportunity to enjoy the facilities entertainment complexes offer.
