Lotte Tour’s Korean integrated resort, Jeju Dream Tower, appears to be on a roll with casino revenues surging yet again in May to KRW41.4 billion (US$30.1 million) – up 52.5% year-on-year and 25.8% higher than in April.
Casino revenues have booked both year-on-year and quarter-on-quarter growth every single month in 2025.
The May result included a 60.5% year-on-year increase in table games revenue to KRW39.4 billion (US$28.6 million) although slot machine revenue was 23.5% lower at KRW1.96 billion (US$1.4 million). Hotel revenue grew by 2.3% year-on-year and 11.3% quarter-on-quarter to KRW7.92 billion (US$5.8 million).
According to information from parent company Lotte Tour, drop amount in May amounted to KRW194.2 billion (US$141 million), up 77.8% compared with May 2024 and 2.8% higher than April.
For the first five months of 2025 combined, casino revenue is up 35.1% to KRW158.8 billion (US$115 million) on a 37.0% increase in drop amount to KRW802.7 billion (US$584 million).
Jeju Dream Tower is the tallest building in Jeju at 38 floors or 169 meters high and features a retail mall, 14 restaurants and bars, an outdoor pool deck, top floor skydeck with lounge, two spas and a casino boasting 150 tables and 300 slot machines.
The casino was relocated from its former home at the smaller Lotte Hotel Jeju in June 2021 and covers more than 5,000 square meters, offering 141 gaming tables, 190 slot machines and 71 electronic table games.
