IAG launches public call for candidates for 2025 IAG Academy Awards at Manila’s Newport World Resorts on 9 September

IAG launches public call for candidates for 2025 IAG Academy Awards at Manila’s Newport World Resorts on 9 September

Inside Asian Gaming is pleased to launch a public call for candidates for the 2025 IAG Academy IR Awards, part of the IAG EXPO taking place at Manila’s Newport World Resorts from 8 to 10 September 2025.

This year’s IAG Academy IR Awards comprise 23 award categories, one more than last year, separated into four divisions: Non-gaming Operator Offerings, Gaming Offerings, Corporate and Industry.

The awards categories are listed below and a full description of each of this year’s categories is available at www.iagacad.com/ir-awards-categories-and-nominations.

To nominate for any Award, please visit www.iagacad.com/nomination-webform/ and fill out the nomination webform. There is no prohibition against self-nomination, but it is highly recommended that those submitting nominations download this information guide, which will assist in making nominations more effective and impactful.

The Awards process is explained in full at www.iagacad.com/ir-awards-awards-process.

The public call for candidates closes strictly at midnight Manila time at the end of Friday 25 July 2025. Official nominees will be announced on Monday 11 August 2025 at which time a 17-day period will begin for nominees to submit their supporting documentation.

A select committee of the Judging Panel will choose the official nominees for each award category from amongst the candidates received during the public call for candidates period.

The 2025 award categories are:

DIVISION 1: NON-GAMING OPERATOR OFFERINGS
Elements of Asia-Pacific based Integrated Resorts other than gaming.

1. Best Visual Appeal of an IR
2. Best IR Resort Attraction
3. Best Overall Retail Offering by an IR
4. Best Overall F&B Offering by an IR
5. Best Hotel in an IR

DIVISION 2: GAMING OFFERINGS
Gaming elements of Asia-Pacific based Integrated Resorts.

6. Best Slot Solution
7. Best ETG Solution
8. Best Table Game Solution
9. Best System Solution
10. Best Sports Betting Solution in an IR
11. Best Poker Room in an IR
12. Best IR Membership Program
13. Best IR Gaming Floor

DIVISION 3: CORPORATE AWARDS (OPEN TO OPERATORS AND SUPPLIERS)
Elements that relate to overall governance and activities of companies that operate Asia-Pacific based Integrated Resort businesses, and those that supply them.

14. Best Individual CSR Initiative
15. Best Overall CSR Program
16. Best Technological Innovation
17. Best Workplace
18. Best Overall Marketing Program

DIVISION 4: INDUSTRY AWARDS
Elements relating to the wider industry of and serving Integrated Resorts in the Asia-Pacific region.

21. Best Industry Supplier
22. Best Regional Asia-Pacific IR
23. Best Integrated Resort

The IAG Academy IR Awards is an in-person, high quality, black tie gala event, celebrating the land-based gaming industry only. Organizer Inside Asian Gaming is an Asian born and bred company with a 20-year history and an in-depth knowledge of the people and companies who have made the industry what it is today.

The awards form part of the 2025 IAG EXPO, which also comprise the welcome event Manila After Dark, the IAG Academy Summit and the first ever IAG Exhibition.
