Sands Macao celebrated its 21st anniversary on Sunday by continuing the tradition of providing complimentary boxed lunches to Macau taxi drivers dropping guests off at the property.

Danny Tang, Vice President and General Manager of Sands Macao, was joined by other Sands Macao team members to greet taxi drivers arriving at Sands Macao at noon, handing out meal packs featuring Himematsutake mushroom, conch, fish maw and pork bone soup; soy sauce chicken with minced ginger; wok-fried shrimp and scallops with yellow fungus, honey bean and lotus root; seasonal vegetables; steamed rice; Chinese birthday bun; and fruit, the company said.

Explained Tang, “On the occasion of the 21st anniversary of the opening of Sands Macao, we continue our long-standing tradition of delivering meal packs to local taxi drivers to express gratitude to those who travel through Macau’s streets and alleys every day and connect every corner of the city.

“Sands Macao has been with the city for more than one-fifth of a century. We will continue providing exceptional service and diversified leisure experiences for residents and tourists, contributing to the sustainable development of the city.”
