After a recent visit to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam by Danny Tang and Andrew W Scott, both friends of the late Mr Nick Niglio, a fund has been established to support Nick’s family.
As readers may be aware, Nick was in poor health in the latter years of his life and almost all of his saved funds were spent on medical and support expenses during his illness.
Nick is survived by Linda, his long-term partner of over two decades, their 19-year-old son Jackie, and 8-year-old daughter Kimberly. All three live in Ho Chi Minh City, where Nick spent most of the last year of his life. Linda had been Nick’s full-time carer up until his passing, Jackie has recently begun a new job, and Kimberly is in the fourth grade of primary school.
Nick was known to selflessly support numerous gaming industry executives in Asia and in the US in the five decades that he was an industry executive himself. He was generous with his time, connections and network, and advice.
