Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands revealed Tuesday that it has now completed the renovation of its entire hotel room inventory – part of a massive US$1.75 billion multi-year transformation of the iconic integrated resort.
The renovations, which included the expansion of its suite offering, sees MBS now comprise a total of 1,850 hotel rooms including 775 suites – up from 180 suites previously.
Another 570 suites will be added in the coming years as the company embarks on a US$8 billion expansion project that will see a fourth hotel tower built.
According to MBS, The Sands Collection – one of two distinct hotel collections launched under the transformation of its three existing towers – became fully refreshed last week, comprising 1,480 rooms and suites.

The collection offers an extensive accommodation portfolio, MBS said, from an elegant Sands Premier Room to a family-centric Sands Family Suite, catering to wide-ranging guest profiles. A Premium Services team attends to select guests, ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience and supporting them throughout their stay, the company added.
The remaining 370 suites belong to the ultra-luxurious Paiza Collection and are described by MBS as “best-in-class accommodation”. These include the three- to four-bedroom Chairman Suite, fit for entertaining on a grand scale with a 146” television, karaoke facilities and fully stocked kitchen.

The two-bedroom Presidential Suite is fitted out with a golf simulator loaded with world-renowned golf courses while the one-bedroom Horizon Suite offers a rejuvenating spa-in-a-city concept, comprising a Himalayan salt wall, hammam shower, dry sauna, private gym and two massage tables.
Guests receive round-the-clock service from a 160-strong Butler Services team – one of the largest butler teams in the world.
MBS said it will next launch Jin Ting Wan, the property’s fully owned and operated authentic Cantonese restaurant, in July, followed by other refurbishments such as LAVO Italian Restaurant & Rooftop Bar in the second half of the year. Also in the pipeline are lobby enhancements and a new spa.
