Foreigner-only casino operator Grand Korea Leisure reported casino revenue of KRW36.2 billion (US$25.9 million) in April, up 11.5% year-on-year but down 12.7% compared with March.
GKL’s casino revenue comprised an 11.7 % year-on-year increase in table revenue to KRW32.9 billion (US$23.5 million) and a 10.3% rise in slots revenue to KRW3.32 billion (US$2.37 million). This came despite a 10.2% year-on-year decrease in drop amount to KRW286.8 billion (US$205 million).
Casino revenue for the first four months of 2025 combined sits at KRW144.4 billion (US$103 million), up 14.5% on the same period last year.
Table drop of KRW1.11 trillion (US$808 million) through April is down 9.9% year-on-year.
GKL operates three casinos in South Korea in Seoul and Busan under the Seven Luck brand.
