Leading gambling law and regulation conference Regulating the Game (RTG) has announced its first joint sponsors for its 2026 event: CherryHub and Ebet.

The duo is described as innovative Australian companies driving transformation across the gaming and hospitality sectors with their sponsorship of RTG 2026 underscoring a shared commitment to industry leadership, compliance excellence and regulatory innovation.

CherryHub is a locally-developed digital ecosystem that connects venues with next-gen technology to simplify compliance and drive customer engagement. Its suite of products includes a mobile-first solution simplifying compliance reporting for safer gambling , AML/CTF and responsible service of alcohol; a frictionless digital membership and loyalty platform; and a venue branded Mastercard mobile tailored for the entertainment sector, integrated with Apple and Google Pay mobile wallets.

Ebet, a leading gaming systems provider trusted by over 500 venues, delivers regulated solutions that enhance venue operations, player engagement and regulatory compliance. Their cutting-edge technology includes feature rich and robust membership system built specifically for Australian venues, and live alerts to assist with both AML transaction monitoring and reporting for safer gambling with detailed audit capability. It has pioneered cashless gaming solutions since 2001 and led the NSW cashless trials with the addition of bank transfer functionality.

Frank Makryllos, Managing Director and CEO of Ebet, said, “Regulating the Game plays a critical role in fostering the collaboration and thought leadership our industry needs. As suppliers, Ebet and Cherry Hub are committed to equipping venues with practical tools to manage risk, support safer gambling practices, and meet evolving regulatory expectations, including AML/CTF and financial crime compliance”.

Now in its sixth edition, RTG has cemented its reputation as the region’s premier gambling law and regulation conference. Returning to Sydney in March, the event will again bring together global regulators, industry pioneers and compliance professionals for three dynamic days of policy and sector dialogue, strategic insights and capability building.

The program will span high-impact keynotes and panel sessions addressing regulatory challenges, financial crime and public policy reform; innovation showcases exploring AI, RegTech and emerging technology; and deep dives into safer gambling, risk management and compliance uplift.

With expert-led masterclasses and the return of Pitch! – now hosted at the iconic Yallamundi Rooms at the Sydney Opera House – Regulating the Game 2026 will look to continue shaping the future of not only effective and leading-edge gambling regulation, but also a forward-thinking, innovative and socially responsible industry.

“CherryHub and Ebet represent the innovation and integrity we seek to champion through Regulating the Game,” said RTG founder and Principal at Vanguard Overwatch, Paul Newson. “Their support reflects a strong alignment with our mission to promote evidence-led policy, ethical leadership and safer gambling outcomes.”
