It is our sad duty to report the passing of a great friend of IAG, Mr Nick Niglio, on the evening of Wednesday 26 March 2025.
After a successful career as Executive Vice President of both Caesar’s World Marketing and Trump Taj Mahal, Nick moved to Macau more than 20 years ago, initially to explore a then-mooted online gaming opportunity. He soon moved into the VIP gaming business and was a member of the Board of Directors of Neptune Group Limited from 2007. The company changed its name to Rich Goldman Holdings Limited in 2017 and Nick remained a Director of the company until he passed away on Wednesday last week.

Nick had been suffering from deteriorating ill-health for a number of years. He moved to Ho Chi Minh City in August 2024 to be closer to his long-term partner Linda, who he met in Macau in 2003, and their children Jacky and Kimberley.
Nick’s funeral was held in Ho Chi Minh City on Saturday 29 March and was attended by his family and a small number of friends able to travel to Vietnam on short notice.
There will be a Macau gathering of friends to remember Nick’s life, with details as follows:
Event: | Remembering our friend Nick Niglio |
Venue: | ABA Bar, MGM Macau |
Date: | Monday 7 April 2025 |
Time: | From 6pm |
Payment: | Guests pay for their own drinks. MGM is kindly providing canapés. |
Invited: | All are welcome. |
Nick was a loyal patron of the Lion’s Bar at MGM Macau, socializing there very regularly for many years prior to its closure in 2016. Celebrating his life at ABA, as close as possible to the former Lion’s Bar location, will be fitting. IAG readers are encouraged to spread the word of the event on Monday April 7.
Nick was a true gentlemen and raconteur with an almost encyclopedic knowledge of the gaming industry in Asia and the United States. His stories were legendary, and he participated in many a happy night of festivities amongst friends in Macau.
Nick will be sorely missed.
