Japan’s Angel Group has confirmed that it has completed the implementation of its Smart Table System across all baccarat tables in the mass market areas of Sands China’s Macau casinos, comprising more than 1,100 tables.
The company said Thursday that, with this latest deployment, it now has around 2,000 gaming tables operating with its Smart Table System in Macao, Singapore, the Philippines and Australia.
Sands China operates The Venetian Macao, The Londoner Macao, The Parisian Macao, The Plaza Macao and Four Seasons, and Sands Macao.
Angel’s smart table “hybrid” solution utilizes both Artificial Intelligence and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to capture chip information on each and every chip including quantity, type and exact location on the table. This smart table technology revolutionizes casino operations across multiple functions including marketing strategies, game protection, operational efficiency and customer experience based on the real-time data analysis, supporting optimal game management.
Angel said it will continue to expand and utilize its “hybrid” solution on its smart tables for other table games such as blackjack and roulette, and dice-based games like Sic Bo.
