Macau’s SJM Resorts, S.A. has touted the receipt of a raft of recent awards from leading fashion and lifestyle publications that it says showcases its efforts to set the gold standard for the city’s status as a “World Centre of Tourism and Leisure”.

The accolades include 2025 The Bund Design Hotel Awards, known for its cultural and fashion expertise; the Metropolitan Hotel Awards 2024, which focuses on luxury hotels, the TARGET ELITE Select 2024, a hallmark of opulent lifestyle curation; and the Voyage Hotel & Resort Awards, which honor the country’s best hotels and resorts.

The Bund Design Hotel Awards, jointly released by The Bund Media and Ctrip, is selected based on criteria such as design concept, architectural features, location, services and innovative highlights, judged by a panel of experts from various fields.

Metropolitan magazine’s annual hotel awards serve as a benchmark for excellence within the high-end hotel sector, spotlighting innovative trends and recognizing influential hotels and resorts. These awards provide readers with informed guidance on the pursuit of sophisticated travel and lifestyle choices.

The “TARGET ELITE Select” awards provide valuable guidance for discerning audiences by evaluating top-tier hotels and restaurants worldwide and providing insights into industry trends and forecasts.

The prestigious Voyage Hotel & Resort Award has been held annually to honor China’s best hotels. The winner’s list was carefully selected by a panel of judges and hospitality industry experts, along with hundreds of millions of Ctrip users.
