It is now just two weeks until the world’s biggest annual gaming show, ICE, gets underway in its new home of Barcelona.
Having spent 11 years at ExCeL London, the inaugural editions of ICE Barcelona and iGB Affiliate Barcelona will be held from 20 to 22 January 2025 at the 240,000 sqm capacity Fira de Barcelona – a modern, state-of-the-art venue organizers Clarion claim is perfect for fostering innovation and seamless attendee engagement.
It is also hoped the new venue will provide an opportunity for ICE to set a new attendance record after ICE London 2024 attracted more than 45,000 attendees and 811 exhibitors.
Shortly after Clarion’s August 2023 announcement that ICE would have a new home this year – with the company’s Advisory Board having also considered Madrid and Paris – Stuart Hunter, Managing Director of Clarion Gaming, said, “From January 2025, Fira de Barcelona will be the epicentre for the international ICE and iGB Affiliate communities in a city which is rich in culture and which exudes a spirit of innovation. I think the overriding impressions left with the Advisory Board members who have experienced Fira de Barcelona and been party to the tours and presentations is that the possibilities are endless.”
