Korea’s Paradise Co saw its casino revenues climb by 10.2% to KRW818.8 billion (US$556 million) in 2024, cementing its position as the country’s leading foreigner-only casino operator.
The figures included a 13.8% increase in table games revenue to KRW766.7 billion (US$520 million) and a 9.7% increase in machine revenue to KRW52.0 billion (US$35.3 million), while table drop grew by 11.3% to KRW6.87 trillion (US$4.66 billion).
Paradise Co reported a strong finish to the year in December, with casino revenues up 11.7% over the same month in 2023 to KRW70.7 billion (US$48.0 million), albeit slightly down compared with November.
Table games revenue of KRW67.0 billion (US$45.5 million) in December was up 13.8% year-on-year but down 0.5% sequentially while machine revenue of KRW3.74 billion (US$2.5 million) was down 16.1% year-on-year and 16.0% month-on-month.
December table drop fell 7.0% year-on-year and 6.5% month-on-month to KRW540.9 billion (US$367 million).
Paradise Co operates four casinos across Korea, including integrated resort Paradise City in Incheon plus venues in Seoul, Busan and Jeju.
