Inside Asian Gaming has announced that the next Philippines edition of its MAD networking social events, MAD 27, will be held at speakeasy bar TABOO at Hann Casino Resort in Clark on the evening of Friday 6 December 2024.
MAD 27 will become the first ever MAD held in Clark and the third to be held in the Philippines this year, following on from exceptionally-well attended events at Okada Manila’s Luna Lounge in March and Casa Buenas at Newport World Resorts in September.
The theme of MAD 27 is “MAD Santa: Clark After Dark”, with the event also being IAG’s Philippines Christmas party.
TABOO, located near the VIP gaming rooms of Hann Casino Resort, is described by Hann Casino Resort as, “a speakeasy bar themed around the prohibition era, exuding a retro vibe exhibited by vintage decor, ambient lighting and a cozy atmosphere. It also features four baccarat gaming tables and a Lucky 9 gaming table. With jazz or blues music in the background, specialty beverages and Cuban cigars, TABOO presents an exclusive experience fit for a gentleman.”

Debuting back in early 2019, MAD is a regular series of industry networking social events held in the Asian gaming hubs of Macau and Manila (and now Clark!) Each MAD brings together key industry decision-makers with the people they want to meet in a relaxed and friendly environment. The event rotates around the region’s best hospitality venues – some well-known and some hidden gems.
Due to its enormous popularity, MAD is strictly by invitation only. Invited guests must RSVP and be confirmed by having an event entry ticket on their phones. All guests must supply their business cards upon arrival. There is also a select VIP list for each event.
