Inside Asian Gaming is pleased to announce the panel of judges for this year’s Asian Gaming Power 50, with the annual list of the most influential people in Asia set to be unveiled during IAG’s black tie gala dinner on the evening of Friday 8 November 2024 at Solaire Resort North. Bloomberry Resorts Corp is Venue Sponsor of the event.

To be chaired by IAG Vice Chairman and CEO Andrew W Scott, the judging panel brings together many decades of industry experience across the operator, supplier, legal, education and media sectors.

This year’s panel comprises a total of seven judges of which six are returning from previous years. They include IAG Managing Editor Ben Blaschke; Member of the Advisory Board Institute for the Study of Commercial Gaming at the University of Macau, Grant Bowie; veteran gaming and governance consultant David Green; Professor Integrated Resort and Tourism Management at the University of Macau, Desmond Lam, and Managing Partner at MdME Rui Pinto Proença.

Joining the judging panel for the first time is Heather Scheibenstock, an experienced executive and non-executive director of ASX-listed companies, crown land trusts and non-profits who currently serves as a Non Executive Director of Ainsworth Game Technology Ltd.

Scheibenstock’s strategic and operational leadership experience across Asia-Pacific includes senior roles such as Senior Vice President of Table Games at Solaire Resorts in the Philippines; Managing Director of Australian Gaming & Entertainment, and General Manager of the Gaming Executive Leadership Team, at Echo Entertainment Group/The Star (now The Star Sydney) in Sydney and at Jupiters on the Gold Coast (now The Star Gold Coast).

She is also Managing Director of Innovation of Business, a consulting company that provides strategic consulting services to global businesses, focusing on business improvement, growth strategies and change and transformation.

Celebrating its 17th anniversary in 2024, the Asian Gaming Power 50 has established a reputation as the definitive guide to the most influential people in the Asian gaming industry over the preceding 12 months.

The Asian Gaming Power 50 Black Tie Gala Dinner will see IAG count down this year’s “Big 50” while guests enjoy a fine-dining banquet, lively entertainment and the company of many industry peers and influencers. The Power 50 list will be announced in a variety of interesting ways by renowned VIPs.
