Macau-based gaming product distributor Asia Pioneer Entertainment Holdings Limited (APE) has appointed Maria Garcia to its Board of Directors with effect from 30 September 2024. Garcia’s appointment makes her the company’s first female director since its listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2017.
A long-time part of the APE story, Garcia first joined in 2006 as Sales Director of the Corporate Sales and Marketing Department, serving for six years before leaving to pursue various roles within the gaming sector and founding her own business. She returned to APE in 2020 as a Business Consultant and resumed her role as Sales Director for Macau and Southeast Asia in December 2022, overseeing the company’s growth and development in both the Macau and Southeast Asian markets.
“We are delighted to welcome Maria to the board,” said APE’s CEO and Executive Director, Herman Ng. “I have had the pleasure of working with her for over a decade. She is an industry expert with extensive knowledge, experience and a wide network of connections. I am confident she will excel in this role.”
