Wynn has announced the opening of its new EliteKinesio Medical Centre (Wynn Palace) at The Spa at Wynn Palace, its first medical center under the Macau SAR Government’s push to grow the city’s Big Health industry.
Big Health is one of four diversified development projects identified by the government as areas of focus, with the other three being high-tech, modern finance, and MICE, culture and sports.
According to information from Wynn, EliteKinesio Medical Centre (Wynn Palace) at The Spa at Wynn Palace is the first medical center to provide physical therapy treatments at a spa in Macau. Set within The Spa at Wynn Palace, it will offer holistic health services and provide tailored treatment plans that are customized for each individual, the company explained.
It added that The Spa at Wynn Palace is also offering an array of new Touchless Well-Being Enhancements such as Float Therapy; Red Light Therapy; Vibration and Sound Therapy as well as Cryotherapy.
“Through these new health and wellness offerings, Wynn aims to contribute to the Big Health industry and boost ‘Tourism + Wellness’ programs in line with the Macau SAR Government’s ‘1+4’ appropriate diversification development strategy,” Wynn said.
The EliteKinesio Medical Centre (Wynn Palace) is opening in collaboration with Cary Lam, an experienced, Macau-registered therapist specializing in Physical Therapy. Customized treatment plans will aim to resolve pain issues, prevent injuries and improve quality of sleep, while also providing tailored exercise programs such as core muscle strengthening, cardiorespiratory fitness and more, Wynn stated.
It added that the EliteKinesio Medical Centre (Wynn Palace) will also provide visceral manipulation, cardio and pulmonary rehabilitation programs, while major medical services on offer are to include musculoskeletal management, accident or sports injuries, whole-body fascia balancing, posture correction, movement training and postpartum recovery.
