This year’s G2E Asia Conference, taking place at The Venetian Macao from 4 to 6 June, will include a panel discussion on smart gaming table technology, organizer Reed Exhibitions has announced.
The session, kicking off from 10am on Wednesday 5 June, will feature Stephen Moore, founder and CEO of Walker Digital Table Systems, and Aaron Raj, Chief Technology Officer at Angel – the two companies currently installing their RFID/AI gaming table technology on the gaming floors of Macau’s six concessionaires.
Also taking part will be former VP of Table Games at MGM Cotai, Graeme Croft, and the General Manager of Table Games Strategy at Australia’s Star Entertainment Group, Rick McDonald, to discuss their experiences utilizing smart table technology.
With smart gaming tables among the key talking points of the Macau gaming industry in 2024, the panel – titled “Smart Table: New Era of Cohabitating with Innovations” – is certain to attract widespread interest.
RX also announced details of a panel session following the smart table session that will explore player experience initiatives and the role electronic gaming machines (EGMs) can play in engaging new players as the Asian focus shifts increasingly towards the mass market. Representatives of leading suppliers Aristocrat and Light & Wonder will be joined by operators from Macau and the Philippines to explain how the latest EGM and gaming floor features are growing the audience.
The G2E Asia conference is being produced by Inside Asian Gaming in its role as Lead Media and Production Partner of G2E Asia in 2024. This year’s expo and conference represents the first full-sized G2E Asia to be held in Macau since 2019.
