Casino gaming solutions provider Tecnet Asia Inc has taken its first steps into supporting sports by sponsoring local Philippines football club Dynamic Herb Cebu FC (Cebu FC).

Suat Sirin, President of Tecnet Asia, said the company wants to give back to the community with its support of Cebu FC.

“Expanding our product offerings through exclusive partnerships with reputable brands like Novomatic, Ainsworth, Apex and Patir has led to significant growth for us. Now we want to give back to the community,” he said.

“We believe Filipinos have incredible potential in football and we want to help them showcase it. Football is adored worldwide, and with the Philippines’ warm hospitality and talented players, we see it becoming a football hub in Southeast Asia.

“By backing local teams like Cebu FC, we aim to support their journey in international competitions. Hosting major football events here could draw more tourists, boosting the economy. Moreover, since both football and gaming fall under the umbrella of entertainment, increased tourism could lead to more interest in gaming. We extend an invitation to fellow industry leaders to join us in supporting local football.”

Ugur Tasci, the owner of Cebu FC, added, “We’re a new team in the Philippine Football League, but we are doing well and we want to be one of the top teams in Asia. To do that, we need sponsors. We appreciate Tecnet’s support, especially since they’re the first company from the casino gaming industry to back us. Hopefully, others in the gaming industry will follow and support local football too.”

Eren Kereci, representing Tecnet Asia, was present at Cebu FC’s contract signing ceremony and, after witnessing the team enjoy victory on the field shortly afterwards, remarked, “This is just the start. We’ll continue backing Cebu FC and local football. We hope more gaming companies will join us. The Philippines has produced outstanding players like Paulino Alcantara, who became one of Barcelona FC’s top strikers. Let’s collaborate to revive that spirit.”

It is hoped that with Tecnet Asia’s support, Cebu FC can look forward to a better future, strengthening the connection between Philippines football and the casino gaming industry.
