The world’s largest annual gaming exhibition may be on the move to Barcelona next year, but ICE London certainly went out with a bang with organizer Clarion Gaming revealing another record attendance of 52,345 in 2024.

Held from 6 to 8 February at ExCeL London, the event attracted visitors from 164 countries with the 52,345 unique attendees comprising those attending both ICE London and sister show iGB Affiliate, which ran alongside the main exhibition from 6 to 9 February.

Unique attendance at ICE itself also achieved an all-time high of 45,050, representing a 12% increase over 2023, while iGB Affiliate attracted 7,295 unique visitors, up 27%.

“February’s historic editions of ICE and iGB Affiliate were what I would describe as ‘I was there’ events,” said Stuart Hunter, Managing Director of Clarion Gaming. “ICE and iGB Affiliate occupied every square millimeter of exhibition and meeting space available at ExCeL London.

“I am hugely grateful to everyone in the industry for creating an experience which was full of energy, excitement and optimism for the future.”

Hunter also pointed to a visitor satisfaction rating of 96% from those in attendance who were surveyed, but noted this meant Clarion must replicate the London experience in Barcelona next year.

“While that’s really satisfying, we are very aware that the bar has been set for Barcelona 2025,” he said. “The entire team is confident that we can maintain and improve on what London has delivered. Make no mistake these are hugely exciting times for everyone that’s involved with ICE and iGB Affiliate.”
