Inside Asian Gaming has announced that the next edition of networking social event Macau After Dark, MAD 23, will be held on Tuesday 26 March 2024 at the North Terrace, Sofitel at Ponte 16.
IAG plans to have three MAD Macau and Manila double-headers in 2024. After the two March events, the next MADs will be in September, followed by IAG’s traditional “MAD Santa” Christmas events in December.
MAD 23 will form part of IAG’s first MAD “double-header” of the year, taking place just six days after Manila After Dark (MAD 22) returns to Okada Manila in the Philippines on Wednesday 20 March 2024.
Set beside the outdoor pool and lush landscaping, the North Terrace with its stunning Pearl River views forms an attractive outdoor venue for private events and parties.
IAG Vice Chairman and CEO Andrew W Scott added, “After Macau returned with a bang in 2023, it is hugely exciting for the team at Inside Asian Gaming to be back for our first Macau After Dark of the new year – and what better place than alongside our friends from Sofitel at Ponte 16?
“While this is not the first time MAD has been held at Ponte 16, it is the first time a MAD has been held on the North Terrace.
“The Ponte 16 team have long been supporters of MAD and we look forward to another enjoyable event as we catch up with our industry colleagues for an evening of fine finger food and delectable drinks.”
Debuting back in early 2019, MAD is a regular series of industry networking social events held in the Asian gaming hubs of Macau and Manila. Each MAD brings together key industry decision-makers with the people they want to meet in a relaxed and friendly environment. The event rotates around the region’s best hospitality venues – some well-known and some hidden gems.
Due to its enormous popularity, MAD is strictly by invitation only. Invited guests must RSVP and be confirmed by having an event entry ticket on their phones. All guests must supply their business cards upon arrival. There is also a select VIP list for each event.
