Global gaming giant Las Vegas Sands Corp has named Alain Li, President of the French Chamber in Hong Kong, as a new member of its Board of Directors on Friday after two current directors revealed they were stepping down.

According to the details of a filing, Nora Jordan notified the company on 13 January that she was resigning from the board as of 22 January 2024, some three years after first taking her seat.

Likewise, David Levi notified LVS of his intention to stand aside from 22 January, bringing to an end his lengthy nine-year tenure with the company. LVS said neither resignation was due to any disagreement with the company or any matter relating to its operations, policies or practices.

Li, meanwhile, will join from 22 January after being elected to the Board of Directors last Thursday.

According to his LinkedIn account, Li is currently an independent non-executive director of French alcoholic spirits firm Rémy Cointreau and an Advisory Board Member of lighting systems supplier Occhio GmbH.

LVS, which operates Marina Bay Sands in Singapore as well as multiple properties in Macau via subsidiary Sands China, is due to release its 4Q23 and FY23 financial results this coming Thursday morning Asia time.
