The Philippines Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has enjoyed a record-breaking week, recording its highest one-day sales in more than five years and giving out Php1.4 billion (US$25 million) in the space of two days.
According to a statement, the PCSO recorded Php265 million in one-day sales on Tuesday, its highest in a single day since 14 October 2018.
The organization also produced two multi-millionaires in as many days, with a lone winner bagging more than Php600 million (US$10.7 million) on Tuesday followed by another lone winner taking home Php698.8 million (US$12.5 million) on Wednesday in the Grand Lotto draw.

“This is what we want – to bring hope and joy to our bettors for them to continue patronizing and trusting our games at the PCSO,” said PCSO General Manager Mel Robles, who took over the helm in July 2022.
“The more people who would patronize our games, the more help and assistance we can render to our countrymen who are in need. As I always say, more bets equals more charity services.”
The PCSO recently handed out its largest jackpot prize of 2023 on 29 December when a lone winner bagged Php571 million (US$10.2 million).
