Taiwan’s Velvix Corp, part of the XSGroup, has inked a partnership deal with Philippines gaming technology firm Max Fair Group under which the latter will distribute Velvix’s slot game products across the Philippines.
In a statement, Velvix said it is looking to introduce several titles that have achieved success in other markets and have been localized for Asia to the Philippines, including “BaoBao King” – described as its flagship – plus “House of Happiness” and “Blooming Penzai” among others. The group will offer both link and standalone products, it said, with Max Fair to lead the products’ introduction, distribution and management in The Philippines.
“We are excited to begin a new partnership with the team at Max Fair,” said Velvix General Manager, Cyrus San. “They bring expertise in various Asian gaming markets, including a focus on EGM products. Their relationships with operators and understanding of the market regulations make them an obvious partner for us in the Philippines.”
Velvix added it will initially target Philippines integrated resorts for installations but has other Asian markets, including Vietnam, on its radar.
The company describes itself as a developer of EGM cabinets and software for the APAC and North American markets, offering “state-of-the-art, attractive hardware technology with exciting game titles that include themes that fit both Eastern and Western audience tastes.”
