MGM China has announced it will pay a discretionary bonus equivalent to one month’s salary during the Chinese New Year period in 2024 in a move it says will benefit more than 95% of its team members.
The company revealed that in celebration of MGM’s 16th anniversary, it recently held an anniversary ceremony for its team at MGM Grande Praça to thank staff for their years of dedicated service.
“MGM also announced [at the ceremony] that a discretionary bonus equivalent to one month’s salary will be paid to eligible team members as a recognition for their continued hard work in the past year,” MGM China said. “The discretionary bonus will be paid around the Chinese New Year of 2024, and over 95% team members will be rewarded.”
Pansy Ho, MGM China Chairperson and Executive Director said, “Over the past 16 years, MGM has been making many great moments and pioneering countless breakthroughs in Macau. All these achievements could only be made possible through the devotion of around 12,000 members of the Golden Lion team.
“As we are going to rejoice the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 25th anniversary of Macau’s return to the motherland in 2024, we are set for more development potential.”
