Aruze Gaming Global, the slot machine arm of Aruze that was recently acquired by US gaming technology firm Empire Technological Group, has announced the appointment of former LT Game COO Betty Zhao as its new Senior Vice President of International Operations.
According to comments from the company’s Global Chief Operating Officer Kelcey Allison, Zhao will be tasked with establishing Aruze Gaming Global’s international segment as a “premier provider of electronic gaming machines throughout the global gaming industry.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Betty,” Allison said. “Her proven track record and history of accomplishments will play a pivotal role in executing Aruze Gaming Global’s International strategic plan.”
Zhao was LT Game’s COO for 17 years, starting in 2007, where she oversaw the company’s operations including marketing, sales, product development and casino operations. She previously served as a Product Specialist at Johnson & Johnson Medical.
“I am truly honored to be part of Aruze Gaming Global. It is an exhilarating time in the gaming industry, and I look forward to contributing to the team that will shape its future worldwide,” Zhao said.
Empire acquired Aruze’s land-based and online slot assets plus associated personnel in July, while Interblock later announced it had acquired Aruze’s ETG assets.
