LIV Golf is on its way to Macau with Wynn Macau Ltd announcing Monday that it will present a new International Series Macau event in March 2024.

The International Series is a series of tournaments organized by the Asian Tour through a US$300 million investment by LIV Golf, with 10 events to be held in the 2024 season. The Macau leg of the International Series has been added for the first time and will be held at Macau Golf and Country Club.

Although participants have yet to be confirmed, past events of the International Series have attracted some of the biggest names in world golf such as five-time Major winner Brooks Koepka, 2022 Open champion Cam Smith, and 2017 Masters champion Sergio Garcia.

“We are proud to sponsor the very first International Series Macau, part of a new elite tier of sporting events and entertaining offerings in Asia, said Wynn Macau President and Vice Chairman Linda Chen.

“This world-class golf tournament underscores our commitment to supporting the Macao SAR Government’s ‘1+4’ diversification development strategy.

“We are committed to introducing international sports events and growing the sports industry while strengthening the city’s position as a World Centre of Tourism and Leisure.”
