The 2023 Asian Gaming Power 50 Black Tie Gala Dinner will be held tonight at MGM Macau and Inside Asian Gaming is pleased to announce that the event is once again sold out!

Celebrating the 16th anniversary of the Asian Gaming Power 50, the 2023 Black Tie Gala Dinner will be held in the Grand Ballroom at MGM MACAU – returning to Macau for the first time since 2021 after being held in the Philippines last year due to the global pandemic.

Tonight’s theme “The Tiger Roars Again” signifies the impressive recovery of the entire Asian gaming industry over the past 12 months following three years of pandemic-related challenges.

“It is truly exciting to be back in Macau and celebrating the Power 50 without the shadow of the pandemic for the first time in four years,” said IAG Vice Chairman and CEO, Andrew W Scott.

“We took the Power 50 on the road to the Philippines last year and thanks to the tremendous response we received our plan is to rotate the location of the Asian Gaming Power 50 Black Tie Gala Dinner in future, with Macau to host the event every odd year and another jurisdiction – the Philippines for the foreseeable future – to host the event every even year. We may even eventually look further afield.

“For now, however, we are thrilled to host this year’s dinner in the Power 50’s traditional hometown thanks to our great friends at MGM Macau. We are extremely excited for tonight and look forward to seeing our industry friends together again.”

A huge thankyou goes out to all our sponsors for the event: Venue Sponsor MGM Macau; Welcome Cocktails Sponsors Bloomberry Resorts Corporation and Solaire Resort Entertainment City; Platinum Sponsors Aristocrat, IGT, Light & Wonder and Mega Fortris Group; and Gold Sponsors Angel, Galaxy Entertainment Group, Hann Resorts, Macau SLOT, Melco Resorts, Okada Manila, Sands China, SJM Resorts and Wynn Macau.

Celebrating its 16th anniversary in 2023, the Asian Gaming Power 50 has established a reputation as the definitive guide to the most influential people in the Asian gaming industry over the preceding 12 months.

The Asian Gaming Power 50 Black Tie Gala Dinner will see IAG count down this year’s “Big 50” while guests enjoy a fine dining meal, lively entertainment and the company of many industry peers and influencers. The list will be announced in a variety of interesting ways by renowned VIPs.
