After four successful years, Inside Asian Gaming and CDC Gaming Reports renew and expand Strategic Partnership

Marking over four years of successful cooperation, leading B2B gaming industry media brands Inside Asian Gaming and CDC Gaming Reports are pleased to announce the renewal and expansion of their strategic partnership, first formed in March 2019.

Comprehensively covering the gaming industry in North America and Asia-Pacific respectively, CDC Gaming Reports and Inside Asian Gaming have seen engagement between each other’s brands increase as the two companies continue to collaborate in key areas of operation.

Vice Chairman and CEO of Inside Asian Gaming Andrew W Scott said, “We first entered into the strategic partnership with CDC Gaming Reports back in March 2019, taking a bit of a wait-and-see attitude. Four years later, we’re delighted with the partnership, and I can say with absolute certainty that it has been of substantial value to both companies.

“We had no hesitation in expanding the agreement. Both media companies have similar values, particularly a commitment to quality original source journalism with fair and accurate reporting and an abhorrence of plagiarism. Both companies have a passion for the industry and love to build their respective networks of personal connections with industry executives. Finally, Cory and his team at CDC are a pleasure to work with. We look forward to continuing the partnership for many years to come.”

CDC Gaming Reports Publisher Cory Roberts said, “We were treading a new industry path back in 2019 with our one-of-a-kind strategic partnership. Media companies often have a ‘friendly competitiveness’ but to turn that into ‘friendly cooperation that makes sense business-wise’ was a risk that paid off. We quickly realized our collective power for betterment of the industry and our companies: better tradeshow coverage, cohesively informing our audience of world gaming news, and the stronger ability to take down plagiarism (sadly, on multiple occasions). Andrew has built a fantastic team over at IAG that we are keen to sustain and expand our long-term collaboration with.”

The companies have continued to work closely and share resources at key global gaming events such as ICE London, G2E Asia and the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas, providing each other with shared booth space, coworking spaces, sharing strategic connections, and more.

CDC Gaming Reports readers continue to be informed on Asia’s latest gaming news through the daily IAG-branded Asian update, appearing each weekday in CDC Gaming Reports Last Call afternoon (US Eastern Time) report. In addition, readers glean important Asian gaming trends from the monthly Focus on Asia where Inside Asian Gaming Managing Editor Ben Blaschke provides insight on a pertinent Asian gaming topic each month along with digesting the busy Asian gaming news cycle with six need-to-know stories.

The Inside Asian Gaming audience continues to catch up with the latest North American gaming news through the daily CDC-branded North American update, published each weekday in IAG Breakfast Briefing in English and traditional Chinese, and IAG Daily briefing in Japanese.

Automatically updating newsfeeds also appear on their respective homepages, providing cross-continental updates at a glance to readers on both asgam.comand cdcgaming.com.

Under the expanded strategic partnership, the companies have agreed to cooperate closely on editorial development (particularly regarding content relevant to both the Americas and APAC), hold regularly scheduled joint internal meetings, assist each other with networking and introductions where appropriate and work together on other mutually beneficial initiatives.
