The Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority has announced the impending departure of its Chief Financial Officer, Carol Anderson.

In a brief statement, the company said Anderson does not intent to renew her employment contract and will conclude her time at Mohegan on 31 March 2024.

“While this is a very difficult decision, it is important that I redirect focus on personal and family commitments upon the conclusion of my employment contract,” Anderson explained. “I am grateful for the tremendous opportunity to serve the Mohegan organization and am committed to contributing to a smooth and successful transition.”

James Gessner Jr, Chairman of the Mohegan Tribe, added, “Carol’s commitment to the Mohegan organization has been evident in the strategic decisions and leadership she has displayed throughout her tenure. Her contributions have been instrumental in our company’s growth, and we wish her the utmost success in her future ventures.”

Anderson’s departure comes shortly after Mohegan secured long-awaited financing to complete development of its Korean integrated resort, Mohegan Inspire, which is due to open before the end of the year.
