Inside Asian Gaming has announced that the next edition of networking social event Macau After Dark, MAD 19, will be held on Friday 22 September 2023 at Grand Coloane Resort. The event also doubles as IAG’s 18th anniversary celebration.

MAD 19 will form part of a MAD “double-header” and will be held just 10 days after the second edition of Manila After Dark (MAD 18), set to take place next Tuesday 12 September 2023 at Hilton Manila, Newport World Resorts.

Grand Coloane Resort is situated on the southern tip of Coloane Island overlooking the spectacular Hac Sa Beach, the only true Beach Resort in Macau. The eight-storey grand complex, which is terraced into a lush mountainside, features Macau Golf & Country Club’s 18-hole golf course with stunning views of the South China Sea. Grand Coloane Resort offers 208 suites and spacious rooms, each with a large terrace with natural views, and a wide array of indoor and outdoor leisure facilities and activities for its guests.

Due to Grand Coloane Resorts’ unique location, a special Macau After Dark room rate of just MOP$500 is available to all MAD guests for the evening of 22 September. Just quote the code “MAD500” when booking via reservations@grandcoloane.com.

“We are thrilled to partner with Inside Asian Gaming for its 18th Anniversary and Macau After Dark party, hosted by and at our Grand Coloane Resort, Macau’s only true beach resort,” said Mr Rutger Verschuren, Area Vice President – Macau Operations for Artyzen Hospitality Group.

“Nestled amidst lush greenery and offering unparalleled tranquility, our resort, managed by AHG, provides the perfect backdrop for this remarkable event, emphasizing our commitment to delivering a truly exceptional and serene experience.”

IAG Vice Chairman and CEO Andrew W Scott added, “Our Macau After Dark networking series has become some of the most anticipated and sought after events each quarter and what better place to combine MAD 19 with IAG’s own 18th anniversary celebrations than Grand Coloane Resort.

“Artyzen Hospitality Group have long been supporters of MAD and we encourage everyone to take up their special hotel room offer and enjoy their wonderful hospitality. The IAG team looks forward to seeing you there.”

Debuting in early 2019, MAD is a regular series of industry networking social events held in the Asian gaming hubs of Macau and Manila. Each MAD brings together key industry decision-makers with the people they want to meet in a relaxed and friendly environment. The event rotates around the region’s best hospitality venues – some well-known and some hidden gems.

Due to its enormous popularity, MAD is strictly by invitation only. Invited guests must RSVP and be confirmed by having an event entry ticket on their phones. All guests must supply their business cards upon arrival. There is also a select VIP list for each event.
