Crown Melbourne will for the first time in the event’s history host the Australasian Croupier Championships, scheduled to run from 19 to 23 November.
Celebrating the very best croupiers from across the Asia-Pacific region, the Australasian Croupier Championships will see representatives from more than a dozen casinos showcase their skills across three popular games: Blackjack, Baccarat and American Roulette.
Each competitor will be judged on their technical ability, game craft and guest service to determine who takes the ultimate crown.
“Crown Melbourne is excited to be hosting the 2023 Australasian Croupier Championships for the first time in the history of the competition,” said Crown’s General Manager – Table Games Operations Melbourne, Nicole Toomey.
“We are looking forward to showcasing our property and welcoming this year’s competitors and judges from Casinos across Australia and the Pacific to take part in what will be an incredible experience. This is an amazing opportunity for this cohort to showcase their technical skills and to display what true exceptional customer service looks like. It is also an opportunity to network and share experiences with likeminded people, working in the same industry.”
The Australasian Croupier Awards provide a unique opportunity for croupiers to gain international recognition while meeting industry peers, and casinos across Asia are encouraged to take part. Previous years have seen contestants from Macau, Singapore, the Philippines and more compete.
