Macau’s Galaxy Arena, the recently opened venue linked to Galaxy Macau, has announced a three-year strategic partnership with Warner Music China aimed at delivering an array of top-tier music performances and entertainment extravaganzas.

Under the terms of the agreement Warner Music China will bring its artists’ concerts to Macau, planning and producing cultural events such as music festivals, music lectures and forums, and arranging artists to take part in commercial activities held in the city.

The goal, according to Galaxy, is to attract music enthusiasts from around the world to choose Macau as a travel destination in support of the government’s “Tourism + Entertainment” cross-sector integration.

Not only, Galaxy added, does the agreement fast-track more high-quality music and entertainment content to the region, it also facilitates cultural exchange both domestically and internationally, creating new opportunities for enhancing both online and offline interactive experiences and industry development.

“The brand-new Galaxy Arena has been hosting a number of world-class performances since April with resounding success, offering a spectrum of entertainment experiences to visitors from the world,” said Galaxy Entertainment Group Vice Chairman, Francis Lui.

“As a collaborative effort with the Macau SAR Government to support ‘Tourism + Entertainment’ cross-sector integration, GEG’s collaboration with Warner Music China means we will continue to fully utilize this world-class venue to present more spectacular shows and an endless array of exciting entertainment for both locals and tourists.

“We are confident that this partnership will unlock the immense potential for further cultural exchange between the two regions, enriching the travel and leisure experiences of Macau residents and tourists, and propelling Macau’s cultural and entertainment industry to new heights.”

Warner Music Asia Co-President Jonathan Serbin added, “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work together to develop exciting new music and entertainment opportunities at the Galaxy Macau’s amazing property. Through this cooperation, Warner Music will bring a wide range of global artists to the Galaxy to help enrich the already fast expanding cultural and entertainment activities in Macau. We are looking forward to a strong partnership with both the GEG and Macau; and we are very excited to move ahead together on this project.”
