Singapore-based healthcare provider Alliance Medinet Pte Ltd has signed an agreement with Marina Bay Sands (MBS) under which it will establish an in-house clinic to provide a range of medical services to employees of the integrated resort.
In a statement, Alliance Medinet – a subsidiary of Alliance Healthcare Group Limited – said the purpose of the “master supply and services agreement and statement of work” was for the provision of outpatient medical services and managed healthcare services.
By establishing an in-house clinic at MBS, Alliance will provide “general outpatient medical services, which include teleconsultation, health screening and vaccination services to eligible employees, workers and personnel of MBS.”
It will also provide MBS employees with mental wellness assistance, offer managed healthcare services to enable employees of MBS and their eligible dependents to access medical services at the Group’s selected partner clinics in Singapore, administer and process claims for medical services, and provide additional value-added medical and healthcare services to MBS.
The agreement is for an additional period of two years from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2025, to be extended by a further year should the healthcare services provided be deemed satisfactory.
Signing of the agreement comes with MBS having well and truly recovered from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, recently reporting a new all-time revenue record in both mass gaming and retail for the March 2023 quarter.
As previously reported by IAG, 1Q23 net revenue at MBS almost doubled year-on-year to US$682 million, including US$402 million in casino revenue, with Adjusted EBITDA up 54.2% year-on-year to US$273 million.
