Austrian gaming product supplier Amatic Industries has announced former Ainsworth sales executive Robert Dijkstra as its new Manager of Business Development for Asia-Pacific.

In a statement, Amatic said it has appointed Dijkstra, who is based in Sydney, Australia, due to his considerable experience, having spent more than 25 years in the industry including the past six years in the Asia-Pacific region.

“With Robert, we are thrilled to welcome an experienced person who has excellent knowledge of the Asia-Pacific region and can thus strongly represent the Amatic brand,” the company said in a statement.

Robert Dijkstra

Dijkstra’s experience has seen him represent multiple land-based and online gaming companies, including Novomatic where he served as VP Business Development & Sales Asia-Pacific between 2018 and 2020. He then switched to a similar role for Australian slot machine supplier Ainsworth after Novomatic became controlling shareholder.

Incorporated in 1993, Amatic describes itself as a “designer, manufacturer and distributor of advanced gaming technology” with its portfolio including cabinets, multiplayer systems such as automated electronic roulette and server-based video lottery terminals. It also offers customised jackpot solutions and individually adaptable, modular casino management systems, as well as the creation and design of games and the development of online gaming solutions.
