Global gaming giant Aristocrat Leisure Limited has announced veteran transport infrastructure executive Jennifer Aument as a new non-executive director, subject to regulatory approval.
According to information filed by Aristocrat on Tuesday, Aument brings more than 25 years of experience in the development, delivery and operations of major infrastructure assets, having held leadership roles in large US and Australian publicly listed infrastructure companies.
These have included serving as Global Transportation Chief Executive at premier infrastructure consulting firm AECOM, where she led a team of over 14,000 people, and as President and CEO of Transurban’s North American business for more than a decade. She has also held public affairs and government relations leadership roles at Bechtel Infrastructure and other firms, Aristocrat explained.
“I am delighted that Jennifer has agreed to join the Aristocrat board,” said Aristocrat Chairman, Neil Chatfield.
“Jennifer has a particular understanding of US and Australian environments, the complexities of supply chains and the delivery of major projects, and is a thought leader in the use of consumer digital technology. Jennifer also brings strong government relations and public affairs capabilities.

Aristocrat added that Aument, who resides in the US, sits on a range of advisory boards for organizations including Cornell University and the Eno Center for Transportation, and previously served on the board of commissioners for the Virginia Port Authority.
