Inside Asian Gaming has announced the first ever MAD “double-header”, with the debut of Manila After Dark on Thursday 20 April 2023 followed by the return of Macau After Dark on Tuesday 25 April 2023. Both events kick off at 6.30pm local time.

Taking this popular industry networking event to the Philippines for the first time, Manila After Dark will be held in the uber-luxurious Chairman’s Lounge at Okada Manila.

Located on the 15th floor of Okada Manila, the Chairman’s Lounge is a place where one can relax, unwind and take in breathtaking views of the iconic Manila Bay cityscape on one side and a scenic perspective of The Fountain, the resort’s most popular attraction, on the other. Accented with golden lights, the space offers a luxuriously warm ambiance for guests as they enjoy world-class hors d’oeuvres paired with refreshing beverages such as wine, beer and sparkling.

“We are thrilled to welcome back MAD in 2023,” said Inside Asian Gaming’s Vice Chairman and CEO, Andrew W Scott. “The decision to take this much-loved networking event to the Philippines highlights IAG’s commitment to the wider APAC region.

“The Philippines is a hugely important market that continues to grow and we are delighted to be supported by Okada Manila for this event. We are keen make Manila After Dark a quarterly event, just as it is in Macau, and will seek to rotate through all of Manila’s integrated resorts throughout the year.”

Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16

Just five days later, Macau After Dark will return to Sofitel at Ponte 16 on 25 April – this time in the glamorous surrounds of the “Mansion Lobby”, a tucked away exclusive VIP area known only to the select few lucky enough to enjoy its ambience.

Sofitel Macau, situated inside the entertainment complex of Ponte 16, is famed for providing a glamorous mix of classic and modern styles with its position on Macau’s picturesque Inner Harbour waterfront.

“It’s with great pleasure that we welcome back Macau After Dark to Sofitel at Ponte 16,” said Sofitel Macau General Manager Vinzenz Rosa de Pauli. “This will be the second time we have hosted MAD and we relish the opportunity to again showcase to the industry our world-class hospitality.

“It also represents the first Macau After Dark since Macau’s borders reopened in January and we look forward to reconnecting with many industry friends from around Asia.”

MAD is a regular series of industry networking social events held in the Asian gaming hubs of Macau and Manila. Each MAD brings together key industry decision-makers with the people they want to meet in a relaxed and friendly environment. The event rotates around the region’s best hospitality venues – some well known and some hidden gems.

Due its enormous popularity, MAD is strictly by invitation only. Invited guests must RSVP and be confirmed by having an event entry ticket on their phones. All guests must supply their business cards upon arrival. There is also a select VIP list for each event.
