Macau’s Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) has announced a one-off Special Payment equivalent to one month of salary to be awarded to eligible team members at Senior Manager and below.
This, the company said, is to thank team members for their hard work and commitment during the past year, with around 98% of staff covered. GEG is the third of Macau’s concessionaires to announce a similar bonus for employees, with Sands China and Wynn Macau having also done so in the past week.
The one-off Special Payment will be equivalent to one month of base salary and guaranteed tips will be granted to all eligible team members, if applicable, on 18 January 18.
“As the new concession for operation of casino games of fortune begins, GEG will continue its successful creation of world class offerings to contribute to Macau’s prosperity and stability, and join hands with its team members to write a new chapter and forge ahead for a brighter future,” the company said via a statement.
“Recognizing team members as valuable asset, GEG has been creating opportunities for team members to facilitate their professional and personal development through multi skilling and diversifying capabilities.
“Moving forward, GEG will continue its development as one of the largest and most diversified integrated resort destinations and assist in Macau’s development as a World Center of Tourism and Leisure. GEG looks forward to the continuous growth with its team members by seizing the opportunities.”
