In 2022, IAG’s annual Asian Gaming Power 50 Black Tie Gala Dinner moved out of Macau and into the Philippines for the first time in its 15-year history.

Representatives of the Philippines gaming industry came out in force to support IAG’s Asian Gaming Power 50 Black Tie Gala Dinner on Friday 4 November – the first time in the event’s history that it had been held either in Manila or outside of Macau.

With the Grand Ballroom at City of Dreams Manila playing host, around 300 guests looked on as IAG counted down the 50 most influential people in Asian gaming over the previous 12 months. They also enjoyed a fine three-course meal and entertainment from local dance group Ellipsis, violinist Eliza Jem Tangalin and band Sound Salad.

The event was attended by representatives of many of the industry’s largest operators and suppliers, as well as dignitaries from Philippines government agencies, including gaming regulator PAGCOR and local city officials.

Among those in attendance were Parañaque City congressman Edwin Olivarez and representatives from all four Entertainment City IRs [City of Dreams Manila, Newport World Resorts, Okada Manila and Solaire] and from Hann Casino Resort, Universal Hotels and Resorts, Premium Leisure Corp and Macau’s Galaxy Entertainment Group and MGM. At the conclusion of the Gala Dinner, guests were transported to Okada Manila via luxury shuttle for the Official After Party at Cove Manila, where they partied into the early hours of Saturday morning. Needless to say, a memorable time was had by all!

IAG thanks all sponsors of this year’s Asian Gaming Power 50 Black Tie Gala Dinner, including Venue Sponsor City of Dreams Manila; Red Carpet Welcome Cocktails Sponsors Bloomberry Resorts Corp and Solaire Resort, Entertainment City; Farewell Gift Bags Sponsor Newport World Resorts; Official After Party Sponsor Okada Manila; and Entertainment Sponsor Bobadilla Group Macau.

ANGEL Group, Aristocrat, IGT and Light & Wonder were Platinum Sponsors, while Avantage Entertainment, Galaxy Entertainment Group, Hann Resorts, Macau Slot, Mega Fortris, MGM, Sands China, SJM Resorts and Wynn Macau were Gold Sponsors.

We look forward to the 16th Asian Gaming Power 50 Black Tie Gala Dinner on Friday 3 November 2023.
