Paul Baker has stepped down as President of SJM’s Grand Lisboa Palace, IAG has confirmed.
The latest in a string of high-profile departures from Macau’s concessionaires in recent months, Baker steps down four years after first taking on the job of overseeing the opening of SJM’s HK$39 billion integrated resort in October 2018.
Grand Lisboa Palace opened its doors in July 2021.
Baker, who was responsible for all aspects of the property including optimization of property EBITDA, cash flow and all strategic and operating aspects, was previously Deputy Chief Operating Officer at Genting Malaysia Berhad for four years until August 2018.
He also enjoyed a brief stint as EVP – Resort Operations at Wynn Macau, and as Vice President and Assistant General Manager across multiple Las Vegas properties for Caesars Entertainment.
