The return of MGS Summit, to be held on Wednesday 16 November 2022, is now less than one month away.

Co-organized by The Macau Gaming Equipment Manufacturers Association (MGEMA) and Inside Asian Gaming, this exciting one-day event is an online-only summit, providing a unique opportunity for attendees to discover the latest industry happenings in Macau and across Southeast Asia as we map the path forward from COVID-19.

Inside Asian Gaming is Official Lead Media and Production Partner, assisting with the production of the MGS Summit and playing a major role in producing the conference program plus hosting MGS Summit on the day. The full program, including speaker and session details, will be made public in the coming weeks.

The theme of MGS Summit 2022 is “A NEW E.R.A – Entertainment, Renovation, Alignment”.

Recognizing a number of important changes to Asia’s gaming landscape in recent times, the theme is a nod to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the opportunities available as the region begins its road to recovery. It also points to a “new era” for the once dominant gaming hub of Macau with the passing of a new gaming law and the ongoing re-tender process for new 10-year casino concessions.

Under the E.R.A. acronym, “Entertainment” pays reference to the core concept of the global gaming industry while “Renovation” alludes to the need for operators and manufacturers to evolve amid a changing world. Finally, “Alignment” discusses the need for industry representatives to work together throughout the global supply chain in ensuring the industry continues to thrive.

The benefits of attending MGS Summit 2022 are numerous. This year’s event is free for all online participants without any registration or potential traveling fees. It also provides tremendous time efficiency with the soon-to-be-released schedule allowing participants to pre-plan which sessions are of particular interest to them.

The event landing page will be released soon with an easy-to-use online registration portal. Once registered, MGS Summit will provide a virtual venue on the day offering a customized and unique viewing experience via the online event platform, including extra social networking opportunities, a 3D event space and numerous avenues for delegates and speakers to connect.

There will also be a playback function for any sessions missed, allowing attendees to watch sessions back on the event platform the following day. The platform aims to provide an immersive experience reflective of a world edging towards more comprehensive digital experiences such as the metaverse.
