According to the Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Centre, three more people have been diagnosed, and six “10 mixed into one” NAT samples have preliminarily tested positive.
As of 9am today, there were 34 positive cases in Macau, 23 women and 11 men, aged between 8 months and 89 years.
“Of the 34, eight are confirmed cases with symptoms and 26 are classified as asymptomatic,” the Response Coordination Centre said.
“A total of 764 people have been followed up by the government, including 178 close contacts, 451 non-core close contacts, 59 secondary close contacts, 37 general contacts and 7 accompanying persons.”
In addition, 339,726 samples have been collected for nucleic acid testing, of which 198,301 have been tested and all are negative, however six “10 mixed into one” positive samples have been identified and are under further review.
In Zhuhai, there are two new confirmed cases, both of which were found when attempting to enter Macau.
