Global gaming giant International Game Technology PLC has announced a series of installations, including its IGT Advantage casino management system, at the newly opened NUSTAR Resort and Casino in Cebu, the Philippines.
The company said this week that its system will connect NUSTAR’s 1,500 slot machines and 250 table games while positioning the property to offer cashless gaming in the future via IGT’s Resort Wallet systems technology.
IGT also revealed the installation of a number of games on the casino floor, with NUSTAR becoming the first in Asia to boast IGT’s Peak49 cabinet, featuring the Ying Cai Shen link. Other games include “Cash Cove Fish On” and “Lucky Buddha” on the CrystalDual 27 cabinet and “Golden Jungle Grand” and “Coin O’ Mania” on the CrystalCurve cabinet.

NUSTAR, developed by Universal Hotels and Resorts Inc, held its soft opening last weekend. The property features the Philippines’ largest gaming floor outside of Manila plus 1,000 hotel rooms across three towers.
