Macau’s integrated resorts have featured heavily in the 2022 Forbes Travel Guide, with 25 hotels receiving recognition including 17 with Five-Star awards.
There were also 27 restaurants recognized of which 22 received Five-Stars and 16 spas with 14 receiving Five-Star recognition.
Among Macau’s hotels to receive the top gong were four hotels at Melco Resorts & Entertainment properties – Altira Macau, Morpheus, Nüwa and Star Tower at Studio City – while Galaxy Entertainment Group, Wynn Macau Ltd and MGM China each received three Five-Star awards in the hotels category.
Both Melco and Wynn received eight Five-Star awards in the restaurants category while four Melco spas and two each at Wynn, Galaxy and MGM properties received Five-Star awards.

In total Macau was awarded 101 stars for its hotels, 114 for its restaurants and 78 for its spas, while its 17 Five-Star hotels wasn’t far behind London – named the city with the most top-rated hotels at 21.
