[THIS EVENT IS BY INVITATION ONLY]

Inside Asian Gaming has announced that the 12th instalment of networking social event Macau After Dark, MAD 12, will be held on Tuesday 29 March 2022 at authentic Italian restaurant Casa Don Alfonso, located at Grand Lisboa on the Macau peninsula.

The theme of MAD 12 is “Ciao! Italia”.

The cosy, family-friendly restaurant is renowned for serving authentic Italian cuisine led by food traditions with origins from thousands of years ago in the Sorrento Peninsula and Amalfi Coast. Proudly carrying the Don Alfonso family name, the restaurant upholds a standard of hospitality that has been handed down from one generation to the next, bringing gourmands in Macau a refreshed Italian dining experience.

“Like any of our brands, MAD has evolved over time,” said IAG Vice Chairman and CEO Andrew W Scott. “It has become increasingly popular, and in an effort to make the event more exclusive with a focus on attendees that match the networking needs of our key sponsors, we have made some changes to MAD in 2022 including a promise to seek out more unique and upmarket venues each quarter.

“This is the direction MAD is heading into from 2022 onwards when we will hold our 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th editions. The first three events of the year will be more professionally focused than in past years however our highly popular Christmas MAD will be a thrilling social gathering not to be missed, just as it has in each of the past three years.

“We look forward to seeing our industry friends at MAD 12 at Casa Don Alfonso on 29 March!”

IAG is also pleased to announce that we will be collecting donations during MAD 12 for Cradle of Hope Association, a non-profit organization which provides a loving and secure home for children who have been the victim of poverty, abandonment, rejection, neglect or violence.

Working together with the Macau Social Welfare Department and the community of Macau, Cradle of Hope Association manages two homes for children from birth to the age of 18, supporting them until they are self-sufficient via the completion of their studies or employment training.

MAD is a regular series of industry networking social events held in Asia’s gaming hub of Macau. Each MAD brings together key industry decision-makers with the people they want to meet in a relaxed and friendly environment. A new venue is chosen for each event.

Since 2021, MAD has been strictly by invitation only. From 2022 MAD pivoted to a more professionally focused midweek event, held at upmarket venues. Invited guests must RSVP and be confirmed by having an event entry ticket on their phones. All guests must supply their business cards upon arrival. There is also a select VIP list for each event.
