The France Macau Chamber of Commerce has unveiled details of its annual Charity Gala Dinner, to be held in the Grand Ballroom at MGM Macau on Friday 25 March 2022.
Rutger Verschuren, chairman of the chamber, explained that funds raised during the dinner will be used to support the Association of Rehabilitation of Drug Abusers of Macao” (ARTM) and their “Alcohol Prevention and Counselling” project. ARTM focuses on tackling substance abuse through prevention, counselling, treatment and referral.
MGM Macau is the traditional venue for the event with MGM China’s Co-Chairperson and Managing Director, Pansy Ho, also Honorary Chairlady of the France Macau Chamber of Commerce.
Verschuren said that the organization “has been working very closely with MGM to make an outstanding evening” that will include an array of live entertainment.
The event, themed “Around the World in 80 Days”, is inspired by Jules Verne’s famous novel, with the hope that international travel returns to normality soon, Verschuren said.
