Gambling regulation program “Regulating the Game” looks set to welcome international visitors in 2022 following news this week that the New South Wales government will remove quarantine requirements for international arrivals into the state from 1 November.

“Regulating the Game” is a 5-day gambling regulatory education program to be held in Sydney, Australia and co-developed by leading specialist gambling law, regulatory and compliance advisory Senet and the International Centre for Gaming Regulation (ICGR).

Set to run from 7 to 11 March 2022, it is now just 137 days until the Welcome Reception is held upon former Royal Australian Navy ship HMAS Vampire.

Organizers said the course will be a “marvellous checkpoint to start re-shaping the conversation about gambling policy and regulation, build individual and sector capability and resilience, re-connect with colleagues and make new connections and friendships, as you extend your network.

“Bringing regulatory and industry stakeholders together for an immersive shared experience in gambling regulatory policy and practice, contributing to discussions and exchanging ideas and insights with fellow attendees is important to help reset the dialogue, and focus on building capability, cultivating innovative compliance-oriented culture for the betterment of industry, and advancement of efficient and effective public policy and regulation.

“The program ensures attendees access the latest thinking and knowledge, apply principles in practice and have the opportunity to benchmark regulatory frameworks and approaches, as well as access unrivalled experience with Australian and international thought leaders and practitioners.

“We think the discussion, debate and exchange of ideas, and shared experience within the program assists perspective and understanding, and the connections you make, will support ongoing collaboration and extend your influence and impact.”

Registration for “Regulating the Game” is now available at regulatingthegame.com.
