Free-to-play gaming platform Social Tournaments has completed a unique €20,000 Reset Madness Tournament that saw it give away €20,000 (US$23,500) to players over four days from 5 to 8 August.
The tournament, to celebrate the milestone of having given away €1 million (US$1.2 million) to over 57,000 players worldwide since launch, featured Pragmatic Play’s newest slot game, “Fruit Party 2”. Players competed for a share of the prize pool by trying to beat the highest score and were allowed to reset their scores freely throughout to try and improve their leaderboard ranking.
“We began developing this platform two years ago,” said Pragmatic Play’s head of B2C marketing. “Our initiative of creating Social Tournaments allows more players to experience Pragmatic Play’s cutting-edge and innovative slot games for free.
“The site has received an overwhelming response from players worldwide and this is proven by the significant milestone we have achieved today.
“We will continue to improve Social Tournaments’ user experience featuring Pragmatic Play’s latest slots games for our players.”
Social Tournaments is available to individuals aged 18 and over, who can register for free and compete to win real money. Since the website’s establishment in 2019, over half a million players worldwide have enjoyed rewards from playing the latest slots games demos, Pragmatic Play said.
