Inside Asian Gaming has announced its sponsors and partners for this week’s Macau After Dark 9, including Platinum Sponsor Scientific Games, Venue Sponsor RendezVous Lobby Bar at Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16, Gold Sponsors GameSource and IGT, Production Partner Like Entertainment & Production Co Ltd and Official Beer Super Bock.

The theme of MAD 9 is the iconic French “Crazy Horse” and the event will be held at French-themed social spot RendezVous Lobby Bar at Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16. Located next to the hotel lobby, RendezVous Bar envelops guests in the glamorous atmosphere of a retro French café in Macau. For socializing in style or partying with friends, RendezVous is renowned for combining simplicity, fun and quality.

Likewise Sofitel Macau, situated inside the entertainment complex of Ponte 16, delivers a glamorous mix of classic and modern styles with its position on Macau’s picturesque Inner Harbour waterfront.

Scientific Games is Platinum Sponsor of MAD 9 and will be showcasing two products at the event this Friday night.

  • The MDX multi-deck shuffler has the capacity to shuffle one to 10 decks of cards and is the first device on the market capable of sorting multiple decks of cards, with a one to 10 deck sorting capacity. This advanced shuffling technology also eliminates edge sorting by randomly rotating the feeder elevator 180 degrees throughout the shuffle, to remove the chance of sorting the card edges in a predetermined way.

  • i-Score Ultra features a vivid 27-inch, double-sided display with 4k resolution. This cutting-edge baccarat table sign showcases a low-profile LED light bar for game outcomes and trend tracking, and picture-in-picture capabilities to stream external content on the main display such as progressive meters, sporting events and marketing messages.

Gold Sponsor GameSource will be showcasing its NextPay Kiosk at MAD 9 – a payment solution approved by regulators in both Macau and the Philippines. With the slim and easy to install NextPay payment kiosk, patrons can easily navigate between the kiosk and gaming terminals or wireless tablet devices for transactions and gameplay. The NextPay kiosk also allows patrons to manage their casino points, credits and vouchers.

Fellow Gold Sponsor IGT will promote its award-winning game Ying Cai Shen featuring Asia’s newest jackpot mechanic and Expanding Reel Matrix game play. It also features IGT’s Wild Stays 2 Spins and Big Wheel with Lock-N-Respin – all designed to maximize player entertainment for more time-on-device.

IAG is very pleased to be working once again with our Production Partner, Like Entertainment & Production Co Ltd, which provided production support for last November’s memorable Asian Gaming Power 50 Black Tie Gala Dinner at The Parisian Macao.

Established in 2013, Like Entertainment provides various one-stop services from creative conception planning to on-site execution for public and private institutions in Macau. It has helped plan more than 200 events, participated in the production of a number of large-scale government events, and has won the trust of many international brand enterprises and organizations, providing long-term cooperation services such as planning, design, production and promotion.

IAG is also thrilled to welcome Super Bock into the Macau After Dark family as Official Beer. Super Bock is a Portuguese beer brand from the Super Bock Group brewery, which produces a range of beers under the same name. Established in 1927, Super Bock maintains a leading position in the market and it is among the favourite beer brands of the Portuguese. It is also the best-selling Portuguese beer in the world.

MAD is a regular series of industry networking social events held in Asia’s gaming hub of Macau. Each MAD brings together key industry decision-makers with the people they want to meet in a relaxed and friendly environment. A new venue is chosen for each event.

Note that from 2021, due to its enormous popularity, MAD is now strictly by invitation only. Invited guests must RSVP and be confirmed by having an event entry ticket on their phones. All guests must supply their business cards upon arrival. There is also a select VIP list for each event.
