Must Read Publications Ltd, the company which owns and operates Inside Asian Gaming and IAG Japan, has changed its name to Asgam Ltd.
The change reflects the name of IAG’s industry-leading website, asgam.com, and the role it plays in keeping the industry informed of the latest news and views shaping Asian gaming. It is the first time the company has changed its name since it was originally incorporated on 3 October 2005.
O MEDIA Ltd remains the parent company of Asgam Ltd and the company will continue to trade under the names “Inside Asian Gaming” (or IAG), and IAG Japan. Similarly, there is no change to any of the company’s sub-brands such as the Power 50, Macau After Dark and Breakfast Briefing.
“The new company name Asgam reflects the name of our website asgam.com, which has seen such a rise in traffic over the past few years and especially the past 12 months,” said IAG’s Vice Chairman and CEO, Andrew W Scott.
“Visiting asgam.com has become a daily ritual for most Asian gaming and IR industry executives. While there will be no change in the day-to-day operations of IAG or its appearance to our readers, this is a pivotal moment in the company’s corporate history as it is the first time the company has changed its name since its incorporation on 3 October 2005, nearly 16 years ago.”
